There’s the temper, the propensity for shotgun violence, and the secrecy surrounding human-sized safes in their respective offices. But what else do Bobby Knight and Dick Cheney have in common? The answer: they both support George W. Bush.

The former Texas Tech head coach and the current Vice President had a lot of comparisons drawn between each other when Bobby Knight was caught shooting barns and running his mouth while hunting in Texas (example here at Sports Illustrated). Cheney, of course, famously shot an elderly friend of his in the face while hunting (notice the official absence of the word “drunk’) near his ranch in Texas.

However, you probably never knew that, according to NewsMeat.com, the Texas Tech-saw Massacre donated money to the campaign of Bush-Cheney back in 2003. No word yet on whether or not Knight has donated to any campaigns in this year’s election. But whoever he chooses to get behind, we’re sure that person is going to catch a face full of buckshot.   Hey-oh!
